Film as Measure:
After testing the space with a rough film I decided to measure and film the loft with regards to the length of the space. Using my rig I achieved a piece of film that that literally measured the space. It bought out the aspect of fear through in a few different ways. Firstly it was the constant noise of the rotating spool from the fishing rod. Secondly the sudden appearance of the different elements in the space, in a close up view gave the feeling that something might just pop up next.
This is the section where the space is measured through each scene. Here each of the waste pipes are 2meters long. When spread across the space they roughly informs the viewer about the length of the space.
